If you are a science, math, engineering, or technology major, this is the English C1000 course for you! This section is designed primarily for students in the Science and Math Area of Interest, but all are welcome! The course will focus on issues related to technology and its impact on society. We will explore and write essays about important issues in technology and science, and we will read books and articles on topics such as the ethics of AI. Register for CRN 32847 for this hybrid 14-week class that meets on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:00am - 11:50am with an online component.

We are celebrating Black History Month with an Art Showcase from Feb. 18-25. Enjoy art from MC students and items from Ghana and other African countries displayed in the Writing Center. On Feb. 25 from 6-8 pm join us for a live showcase of art, books, poetry writing, open mic, slam poetry and rap. President Julius Sokenu will be the featured poet of the evening! Don’t miss the celebration on the 3rd floor of the library!
