The 2020 edition of The Moorpark Review remains on schedule to be printed in May, 2020. The reception/reading that we normally have likely will not happen in May. We are discussing alternatives and will post updates here.
In the meantime, we've been asked to fight this pandemic by sitting at home and watching TV. We can do this.

Writers and artists, this is your chance to get published in Moorpark Review Online!

This year's theme for Moorpark Review Online is "Walls", metaphorical and physical. Boundaries between people and cultures, divisions in the psyche, obstructions of morality, anything that divides us. Just what kind of walls have you built around you? What walls have you broken down for yourself, or others?

Create, submit, and inspire Moorpark College by submitting your work to moorparkcollege.edu/review. Deadline is April 21st.

Hey everyone! There is an upcoming event brought to Moorpark College by Holden Streetly and Spectrum, the LGBTQ+ student alliance on campus and it is a POETRY SLAM! The theme is "A Night of Firsts" and it will take place April 28th in the Forum from 7-8:30pm. Come by to support your fellow students as they express themselves and get their voices out there.

We will also be accepting essay submissions for our SEA (Student Essay Anthology) and the submission process is the same for all the other literary pieces and art you are all able to submit. If you have any questions, message us! We are here to help and get your voices heard through your work(s).
