Last week, our students didn’t just celebrate Earth Day—they turned it into a full week of learning, leadership, and care for our planet 🌎
Our 5th graders took the lead, organizing and guiding daily lunch activities for their peers:
Monday: Students created dice, rolled them, and answered questions about the environment, adding their responses to paper strips that will become a collaborative chain.
Tuesday: Even the rain couldn’t stop us! Students decorated cups and planted seeds to take home.
Wednesday: Earth Day coloring brought creativity and reflection together.
Thursday: Students showed their Falcon pride in a grade-level competition to pick up the most trash and keep our campus clean.
The celebration didn’t stop there! Ms. Eckley’s class planted sunflower seeds harvested from her own garden, and our enrichment class sifted compost that was used to nourish our 1st graders’ tomato plants.
A week full of teamwork, leadership, and meaningful action—our students are truly learning how to care for the world around them 💚
