LyteSpeed Learning is California CDI Provider 65579, which means every course they offer has been reviewed and approved by the state. When you complete a course, LyteSpeed reports your completion to the CDI electronically -- you do not have to submit anything yourself to satisfy that part of the process.

There is no in-person requirement for California insurance CE anymore. All LyteSpeed Learning courses are delivered entirely online, available immediately after purchase, and completed on your own schedule. There are no set class times and no deadlines beyond your license renewal date.

It is completed once, before your initial license is issued, and it cannot be substituted with continuing education ethics hours. One detail that costs agents money every year: completing your continuing education courses is not the same as renewing your license. After you finish your CE, you still need to submit your renewal fee separately. If you paid the renewal fee but did not complete your CE courses, California charges a 50 percent penalty fee on top of the standard $188 renewal fee per license.
