If you hold a Life Only license in California, your CE course selections are limited to Life Only and Ethics categories. This is not a technicality -- it is a compliance requirement. Completing courses outside your licensed category does not satisfy your CE obligation, and it is one of the more common errors agents discover only when they try to renew.
