"In 2013 Minnesota legalized marriage equality. 18 Same-Sex couples married at the Clay County Courthouse moments after the law took effect. Our online exhibit At Last: Marriage Equality tells the story of them and the decades long process to achieve it."

As Fargo-Moorhead Pride puts it, "While we may be celebrating 25 years this August, LGBTQ+ folks have been living, working, loving, and advocating in our region for far longer. It’s vital that we honor that."

We're proud to uplift 2SLGBTQIA+ Cobbers from alumni to current students, faculty, and staff to our incoming first years and transfers. As we are called to be thoughtful and engaged citizens of the world, this too means celebrating today but also honoring those who paved the way. Happy Pride Month, Cobbers!
