For 25 years, Provost Ok-Hee Lee has helped shape the future of Minnesota State Moorhead through a commitment to innovation, student success, and educational opportunity.

Her career began in South Korea as an elementary classroom teacher, where she first found a passion for improving the education system as a whole. Moorhead soon became her home and the site of her leadership journey, which includes initiatives that expanded educational opportunities such as the Teacher Cadet Program, Become A Teacher Day, and new graduate education program offerings.

Now, as Provost, she's focused on what's next for Moorhead and the students she serves.

Did you know Moorhead's MS in Curriculum & Instruction now has nine emphases? The program recently added a new emphasis in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education, which will equip educators with AI fundamentals, instructional applications, and ethical considerations to enhance teaching.

Other emphases are teacher leadership, literacy, mathematics, special education, biology, Kodaly, chemistry, and content specialization.

Today, the Moorhead Juneteenth family-friendly celebration takes place on our campus mall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop by for food trucks, entertainment, inflatable games, and a variety of vendors.
