For 25 years, Provost Ok-Hee Lee has helped shape the future of Minnesota State Moorhead through a commitment to innovation, student success, and educational opportunity.

Her career began in South Korea as an elementary classroom teacher, where she first found a passion for improving the education system as a whole. Moorhead soon became her home and the site of her leadership journey, which includes initiatives that expanded educational opportunities such as the Teacher Cadet Program, Become A Teacher Day, and new graduate education program offerings.

Now, as Provost, she's focused on what's next for Moorhead and the students she serves.

The MSUM Foundation is pleased to welcome Tonya 'Fugere' Stende as President of the Foundation.

A 1994 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, Tonya began her career as a CPA with Eide Bailly before spending more than two decades owning a Dale Carnegie franchise, helping individuals and organizations grow through leadership development, coaching, and consulting.

Throughout her career, Tonya has demonstrated a commitment to strengthening people, organizations, and communities across the Fargo-Moorhead region. Her service with organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, YWCA, and United Way of Cass Clay reflects a passion for leadership and community impact.

As an alumna, business leader, and champion for our region, Tonya brings a unique perspective and deep connection to MSUM.
