LACE UP, SPUDS! IT’S WALK-A-THON TIME!

Our Ellen Hopkins Walk-a-Thon is officially underway!

🎉 From now through October 14th, we’re walking, fundraising, and coming together to support our amazing students, staff, and school community through the Ellen Hopkins PTAC!

🏃‍♀️ HOW IT WORKS:
Students will have the opportunity to earn a bracelet for EVERY lap they complete during their PE class on Tuesday, October 13th! So start practicing those laps now! 💪

🏆 TOP FUNDRAISERS:
The student who raises the most money in each grade level will be rewarded for their fundraising efforts!

🍕 TOP CLASS PRIZE:
The class with the highest total fundraising amount will earn a well-deserved PIZZA PARTY! 🎉🍕

🍂 MAKE IT A FAMILY AFFAIR!
Get in the spirit with your Spud(s) and do some warm-up laps together outside on evenings or weekends! Take advantage of this beautiful fall weather while getting those legs ready for the big day. 👟🍁

💰 WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Every dollar raised goes directly to our Ellen Hopkins PTAC, helping us provide those extra-special things that make the school experience even better—including:
📚 Field trips
✏️ Extra supplies and resources
❤️ Support for our incredible staff and students

This fundraiser is about more than just laps—it’s about showing our kids what can happen when their village comes together to support them!

Happy Labor Day, everyone!

Today we’re celebrating the hard work, dedication, and contributions of people everywhere - but want to give an extra special thank you to our incredible staff at Ellen Hopkins!

Thank you for all your heart, patience, energy, and countless hours you pour into our kids. You do so much more than teach - you encourage, inspire, support, and help our little Spuds grow every single day. We are grateful for you!

We hope you enjoy a well deserved day of rest, relaxation, and maybe a little fun! 🧡🖤

🥔🎉 The Ellen Hopkins Spuds are back, baby! 🎉🥔

The halls are buzzing, the backpacks are packed, the smiles are BIG, and our school is officially back in action! What better way to kick off a brand new school year than with an incredible community showing up to welcome our students?! 🧡🖤

A HUGE shout-out to the Concordia College Cobber Athletics and the Moorhead Police Department for bringing the extra energy and excitement to our first day! From high-fives to big smiles and plenty of encouragement, you helped make our students feel pretty darn special.

It takes a village to make our kids feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated, and we are so grateful for the amazing people who showed up for them!

Here’s to a school year filled with big dreams, big laughs, new adventures, and lots of SPUD PRIDE! 🥔🧡🖤
