Some scenes from the M.Ed. in WLI in-person 10 day intensive last summer. The rest is online, but this time in the summer lets us get a lot done in a short amount of time! We are in the classroom and at Concordia Language Villages to learn and collaborate.

I couldn’t be prouder of all of our graduate students (I love our programs!), but it was one of the best days professionally to see our Hmong language teachers cross the stage. We have been able to license 12 Hmong teachers in Minnesota so far!

Before this master’s program at the University of Minnesota, there was no language licensing program for teaching the Hmong language.
