We are happy to have the Foreign Language Association of North Dakota hosting their summer conference on campus!

The central focus will be on the book “Words and Actions: Teaching Languages Through the Lens of Social Justice,” authored by Cassandra Glynn, Concordia’s Director of Graduate Education and Associate Professor of Education, along with Pamela Wesely and Beth Wassel.

📣Important Announcement! The 2022 One Book, One Community title is by Louise Erdrich's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "The Night Watchman."
• Copies of the book will be available for check out in several formats (physical & digital) at each of the participating libraries; book club kits will also be available.
• A list of related events and resources will be available at each participating library and online starting Aug. 15.
• Several related events are planned, including an author visit with Louise Erdrich on Oct. 27.
• For more details on the One Book, One Community read, visit www.1book1community.org.
• Partners in this community project: Moorhead Public Library, West Fargo Public Library, Fargo Public Library, Concordia's Carl B. Ylvisaker Library, MSUM's Livingston Lord Library, North Dakota State University Libraries, the Indigenous Association, Moorhead Area Public Schools Indian Education, and the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County.
• This project is made possible in part with funding from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and supported by Concordia Cultural Events, Friends of the Fargo Public Library, Friends of the West Fargo Public Library, Friends of the Moorhead Library, and Moorhead Community Education.
