This is PLP's Operations team, who have worked all summer long preparing campus for the new year. Together they paint classrooms, deep clean bathrooms, floors and desks, make necessary repairs, trim trees, and everything else required to maintain a safe, clean, and attractive campus.

This morning they met to report and coordinate remaining tasks before our doors open to students next week. We appreciate all they do!

Upper School families, if your students want to get a jump on their service hours, the Operations team is looking for some help this Thursday, Aug. 6. They will be helping teachers set up rooms, assemble furniture, light cleaning and other tasks.

In just a few hours, PLP will welcome the littlest lion cubs to The Pride; as the Pine Lake Preparatory Class of 2039 attends the Kindergarten "Signing" event. We are ready to meet our newest students and their families!

Pine Lake Preparatory Upper School students participated in the first day of Service Camp today at Rescue Ranch in Statesville, NC.

Students spent the day completing beautification projects around the ranch while preparing and cleaning materials needed to support animal rescues. Their hard work helped create a safe and welcoming environment for the animals, staff, and visitors.

A special thank you to our very own PLP parent, Whitney Langley, for inviting our students to participate in this meaningful service-learning opportunity. Rescue Ranch relies on the generosity of volunteers and donors to continue its mission of caring for animals and educating the community.
