At our End of Year Operations Ceremony, we had the honor of recognizing some truly outstanding members of our School Nutrition team. These employees go above and beyond every single day to serve our students with care, dedication, and heart. From early mornings to busy lunch lines, their hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for all they do for our schools and community.

We had so much fun celebrating our students with a Glow Party send-off filled with smiles, music, and lots of bright energy! Thank you to all of our amazing cafeteria teams for making today extra special for our students. 💙

Happy School Nutrition Hero Day! 🍦🎉

Yesterday’s Ice Cream Social was filled with sweet treats, big smiles, and even bigger appreciation for our amazing School Nutrition Heroes! From delicious ice cream and fun giveaways to our BIG ticket giveaway—a brand new TV 📺—it was such a special time celebrating the hardworking team that helps keep our students fueled every day.

We were honored to hear from Dr. Gardner, enjoyed a sweet visit from Sweet Frog, and shared plenty of fellowship, laughter, and well-deserved recognition.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so memorable and to our incredible school nutrition staff for all you do each and every day—you truly are heroes! ❤️🍦✨

Today our office team had a great time participating in the high school job fair! We enjoyed meeting students, sharing information about our team, and connecting with future graduates as they explore their next steps.

One of the highlights of the day was our milk props stealing the show—they may or may not have been the most popular “paid actors” in attendance 😂. The students had a great time interacting with them while learning more about what we do, and we loved all the laughs and energy.

Moments like these make community events so fun and rewarding!

We’re celebrating School Lunch Hero Day on April 30th this year!

Our cafeteria staff do so much more than serve meals—they help fuel our students for success every single day. This week, we’re encouraging families and students to help us recognize these everyday heroes with a little extra kindness and appreciation. 💛
Due to the NC Rally in support of teachers, we’re celebrating a day early—but the gratitude is just as big! Be sure to stop by the cafeteria and say thank you to someone who shows up daily with a smile and a warm meal.

🥛🏀 Fueling the Road to State!

Even though it's Spring Break, Mooresville School Nutrition stopped by to fuel up our Blue Devils as they get ready for the State Championships and the big game ahead!

Milk is a powerful fuel for student-athletes, packed with protein, calcium, and essential nutrients that help build strong bones and keep our athletes performing at their best.

We are so proud of this team and will be cheering them on every step of the way as they compete for the State title!

When students return from Spring Break, remember to fuel up like the Blue Devils and grab a milk with your school meal!

Our Cafeteria Manager, Ms. Jennifer Reading, was nominated by her school for the Bragging Bobcat Award — and we are proud to see her recognized.
