How do you know when you’ve truly learned something? When you’re able to teach it to others!

Our 8th grade English/language arts students researched aspects of Malawian culture to prepare for reading the novel The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. They created a thin slide to teach others about their topic.

Later today, Paul Hadley Middle School will be conducting a lockdown drill. These drills are required by the State of Indiana under Indiana Code 20-34-3-20. During the drill, students sit quietly in a small area of the classroom while the lights are turned off. Students, staff and families have been notified that this is only a drill. Please be aware that we coordinate these drills with local emergency responders and there may be emergency vehicles outside of the building as part of the drill only. On the School Safety pages of our website, we also have an informational video for parents and/or students to learn more about Standard Response Protocol and the basics of our emergency procedures.

These expectations are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone at high school varsity football games.

*Any student who is not a high school student must attend the game with a parent/guardian.
*All attendees must remain in the stands, concession area, or restrooms.
*Attendees must stay off the Northwood Elementary playground equipment.
*No pass-outs and no re-entry will be allowed once you leave the stadium.
*Footballs, toys, and similar items are not permitted inside the stadium.
