I have "sew" enjoyed renting a class space at Soul Wellness in Mooresville! We have one more week at this location & I do have plans to be back for another round here in the future. 💕

I have heard from others about wanting a Concord/Kannapolis class. If anyone has any leads on a location that I could rent for a reasonable price for a 4-person, 4 week sewing class please let me know! 🐦🪡💜

Hi everyone! We have a lot of new friends here on our page, I thought I should introduce myself.

My name is Claire. I am a wife & mom of 3 young children. I began sewing at a young age (6) learning from a close family friend who was like a grandmother to me. I mostly did hand sewing until I took a clothing design class when I was 14. That Christmas, my mom bought me my first sewing machine. I never looked back! From doll clothes as a child, to infinity scarves as a teen, to making my own clothing, to my children's clothing, to clothing that I sell with Shay Bird Baby -I have evolved my skills over the years and have really found my calling.

I believe sewing skills are life skills that all of us need. Whether it be sewing a hole in a beloved stuffed animal or making your own clothing, I am here to guide you on your journey.

I am hosting a small class for beginners next month in Mooresville. (There are only a couple of spots left for purchase on our website! Shaybirdbaby.com) In the future, I'd like to host more types of classes, classes in different communities, project specific workshops, classes for teens and youth. As you can see, I have a lot of ideas! Above all, I want to create a community.

Great news! Our sewing classes our now live on our website!

There are 2 class times available; 6:15 and 7:30 on the 4 Tuesdays in March. The classes will be held in one of the beautiful classrooms at Soul Wellness in Mooresville. More details in listing.

I have decided this spring, to host a small class for beginners. I am finalizing details but I am 95% sure on location and I will announce more information soon.
