The kids are home, parents are stressed, and we figured everyone could use a little extra fun today at Neil Armstrong Elementary School!

🍟 What a night at McTeacher Night! 🍔

We had such a FUN and successful evening! A huge thank you to all of our amazing teachers and staff members who volunteered their time, we had an incredible turnout of helpers!

And an even bigger THANK YOU to all of our Neil Armstrong Elementary School families who came out for dinner and supported our school. We loved seeing so many familiar faces!

Mrs. Moore was absolutely rocking the drive-thru and rumor has it Ms. Even did such a great job she was offered a job! 😂

We are so thankful for a school community that continues to show up and support us. Nights like this are successful because of YOU!

Our little lunch sales are getting an official name!

Throughout the year, The Lunch Launch will pop up monthly during lunch with fun $1 goodies for our students and staff. Some favorites may return, some launches may bring something different, and you never know exactly what’s going to land! 👀

This launch will feature a HUGE assortment of our always-popular 3D printed animals, including tons of fun designs to choose from!

📚 MAGAZINE DONATIONS NEEDED! ✂️

Our 2nd grade students are getting ready for a fun Writers’ Notebook activity! Each student will be creating and decorating their very own notebook, and we’re looking for kid-friendly magazines they can cut up to create collages and make their notebooks unique.

Before you toss those old magazines in the recycling bin, send them our way!

We’re looking for magazines with lots of kid-appropriate pictures, words, letters, colors, animals, food, sports, nature, etc. Used magazines are PERFECT — they’ll be cut up anyway!

📅 Donations are needed by September 2!

📍 Drop magazines off in the PTO box in the library, or reach out to us here and we’d be happy to arrange pickup!

📣 FINAL WEEKEND TO SELL!

The Neil Armstrong Elementary School Fundraising Drive is wrapping up, and we want to give it one last BIG push! 💙💛

While this fundraiser is organized by the school, we want to make sure it receives just as much support as our PTO fundraisers. The money raised is incredibly important and helps support student enrichment, our amazing staff, and school-sponsored activities and fun throughout the year!

If you haven’t started selling yet—or have a few more friends and family you can reach out to—this is the weekend to do it!

Every order helps support our Neil Armstrong students and school. 🚀

Don’t forget: ALL orders and money must be turned in Monday, August 24!
