Any local community members interested in serving kids as a Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver at our AMAZING elementary school? The staff is incredibly supportive and loving, and we can guarantee you lots of smiles and seeing kids learn and grow! Some people may be seeing the phrase "bus driver" and thinking... ahhhh, no way! If you love kids and set clear expectations for them, you will be a great bus driver! Our TA team is one of the best, and we would love for you to consider joining or sharing this post. What a great day!! We had many representatives from our staff and our School Improvement Team that deeply analyzed data, discussed where we can grow, and helped shape our goals for this next school year. Our staff is still working hard even on their summer break!! We truly appreciate those that were there today (and the others that wanted to come but were unable).

School may be out for the summer on Friday, but nutritious meals are still on the menu! Iredell-Statesville Schools is offering FREE Summer Meals for children ages 1-18, with convenient pickup locations across our county.

Pickup Dates & Times:

Mondays and Thursdays only
12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Hall’s 3rd grade class got to write their own book. They got to pick the topic and this story was The secret life of Guinea pigs. It was based on the adventures their Guinea pigs would go on when we left the classroom. They had a publishing party and author signing today. Great job authors!
