My name is Tinamarie Nicolo, and I'm a Mom on a mission: to provide every kid with a quality education in a fiscally responsible way.
I'm passionate, driven, & ready to work. Let's join together to make our fantastic school district even better! My name is Tinamarie Nicolo-Dorfner. I'm the proud Mom of 3 awesome kids - Joshua, age 14; Aaron, age 12; and Ava, age 8. I was born and raised here in Burlington County, and became a proud Moorestown resident with my husband, Scott, in 2001. After receiving my Bachelor's degree from Rut
gers in Secondary Education & my Master's degree from Rowan University in Special Education, I joined a local family medical center as a Clinical Research Coordinator. A few years later, my husband and I founded Dorfner Family Medicine, an independent family medical practice that grew to five locations from 1999 through 2016. In 2016, we proudly joined with Jefferson Health System to relaunch as Jefferson Dorfner Family Medicine, where I currently serve as Administrator. I am an active member of the Moorestown Home & School Association, and have proudly stepped into the role of Room Mom nearly ever year. In addition, I am a member of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce and enjoy spending time as an active jazz & rock singer at local venues from Moorestown to the Jersey Shore. From 2006-2012, I used my background in education to host the television show "The Chef's Kitchen," which included segments on cooking and other lifestyle interest items. For me, it all boils down to this: Moorestown's schools are amazing. They are the number one reason people choose this town as the place to raise their families, and I want to make sure it stays that way for years to come. I envision a Board of Education that brings parents, students, and teachers together in our common goals, finding common ground and keeping our school district among the best in the state. If elected, I will work to represent the average family & taxpayer with a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility and passion to deliver the best possible results.
