Hello friends! 👋🏻☀️ It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update. As many of you know, Bright Bridge moved out of its previous location at the end of last summer with the plan to work on finding a larger space to move into to expand the program. As so often happens, we make plans without knowing what opportunities may arise in the meantime! I was offered the opportunity to work with NIEER, the National Institute of Early Education Research, with Rutgers University, conducting observations and assessments of pre-k classrooms around South Jersey, and I have been absolutely loving this role. I love being able to observe so many different classrooms and fellow early childhood educators, knowing that my work is used to provide feedback to schools and the NJ DOE to ensure all of our children have the highest quality early childhood classroom experience possible. While I of course miss teaching your little ones, I’m enjoying this unexpected role and will continue to teach at Perkins Center for the Arts!
