Today, our freshman officers got the chance to attend Take AIM in Guthrie! Take AIM is an opportunity for newer FCCLA members to learn about future competitive events, build leadership skills, get out of their comfort zone, meet other FCCLA members, and become more involved in FCCLA. Our officers had a great time learning new things, participating in fun activities, and growing as leaders!❤️⭐️

Today, our Mooreland FCCLA members got to attend the Oklahoma North 1 District Lead Conference! The DLC is a place to learn new things, such as how to be a better chapter officer, how to recruit members, and more. We listened to an amazing keynote speaker, participated in fun activities, and had a great time! We’re thankful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with other FCCLA members! ❤️

Today, our Mooreland Chapter Officers got a chance to go to FCCLA LEAD Conference! The Oklahoma FCCLA LEAD Conference is a leadership event where students come together to learn how to become better leaders. Students attend workshops, listen to speakers, and learn skills that can help them lead their FCCLA Chapters. It is a good opportunity to meet other FCCLA members from the North region, learn new things to bring back to their chapters, and prepare for the FCCLA year!!❤️✨

Lots of activities in the FCS Classroom here lately! Once we finished our Food Safety and Sanitation Tests, we jumped into all kinds of things! The 4th Hour Culinary Arts classes learned how to make Sun Tea, PB&Js, and Boxed Brownies! Other classes got to have some fun with our “Dish Washing” and “Kitchen Clean Up” rules and expectations unit! They got to “ruin” the dishes and dirty up the kitchen area for the next class to have to clean up! Once that was all done, we spent a whole week seeing who could follow a boxed recipe, measure correctly, and work well as a team in the kitchen by making Brownies! Some classes also got to do an interesting science experiment of making a “Brownie in a Mug”! Shoutout to the 1st Hour Culinary Arts class for being patient with Miss Boley for forgetting to add flour to the recipe instructions! 🤪
