MES will hold Ready to Learn Day at Moorefield Elementary School on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 9am - 5:30pm.

Parents/guardians will be able to complete the beginning of the year paperwork. Paperwork must be completed at the school.

PARENTS & LEGAL GUARDIANS ONLY can find out who their child's teacher will be for this school year and complete the paperwork.

No information can be released by phone.

New Student Registration at Moorefield Elementary School will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 9am - 3pm.

If you are new to the area, please come to Moorefield Elementary on July 2nd and register your child for the upcoming school year.

Please bring their state issued birth certificate, SS card, immunization records and most recent well check and dental check.

Today, we celebrate three truly exceptional ladies whose dedication, compassion, and commitment have helped shape our school community for generations.

After a combined 86 years of service, Ronda Kesner, Jackie Cullers, and Robin Williams are beginning a well-earned retirement.

Throughout their careers, they have touched countless lives, supported students through successes and challenges, encouraged colleagues, and helped make our school a place where children feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls and will continue to be felt for years to come.

While we will certainly miss their daily presence, we are grateful for the legacy they leave behind and the example they have set for all of us.

Please join us in congratulating Ronda, Jackie, and Robin on this exciting new chapter. Thank you for your years of service, your unwavering dedication, and the difference you have made in the lives of so many.

🐠 Ocean Animal Research Project 🐋

Mrs. Nesselrodt and Mrs. Dolly’s class wrapped up the year with an impressive Ocean Animal Research and Diorama Project! The students clearly put a lot of effort into both their research and their creative displays.

The dioramas include thoughtful ocean habitats with seaweed, coral, shells, and detailed animal models. The students also completed research posters sharing facts about appearance, habitat, diet, and interesting characteristics of their ocean animals.

What a wonderful way to celebrate a year of growth and achievement!

Today was a day filled with laughter, memories, surprises, and a few tears as we celebrated Mr. A and all he has meant to the MES family. 💙💛

Several former MES staff members returned to help send him off, proving that once you're part of the MES family, you're always part of the MES family.

We shared the special video and revealed our "Principal Returns to the Classroom" story, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter. Mr. A also received a candy bar letter, a goodie bag filled with treats, and perhaps one of the most unique gifts of all—a handmade crochet Mr. A that captured his likeness perfectly!

But the best part of the afternoon wasn't the gifts. It was the stories. Stories of leadership, kindness, support, laughter, and the countless moments that have shaped our school over the years. Each story was a reminder of the impact one person can have on an entire community.

Mr. A, thank you for the memories, the encouragement, the laughter, and the legacy you've left at MES. While today was a goodbye, the mark you've made on our school will remain for years to come.
