๐ Creating the Best Learning Environment for Our Students
At Moorefield High School, weโre starting the year with a few updates to support student success.
๐ฑ Cell phones, earbuds, hats, and other personal items will stay in student lockers during the school day, in line with West Virginia law and Hardy County Schools policy. This helps keep students focused and engaged in learning. Students may carry a small backpack or purse (no larger than 8ยฝ x 11) for essential items.
๐๏ธ Our A/B block schedule means students attend four classes each day instead of eight, with a rotating schedule and a daily Flex period for clubs, support, and enrichment. This allows for:
โข More time to learn in each class
โข Fewer transitions during the day
โข Less nightly homework
These updates are designed to support a positive and productive learning environment for all students. Thank you for your continued support. Weโre looking forward to a great school year!
