🍍 Big Kahuna Fundraising Safety Reminder! 🌴

Our Big Kahuna fundraiser is in full swing, and we want to make sure our Bulldogs are having fun while staying safe! 💚💙💗

A few important reminders for our student fundraisers:

🚫 No door-to-door selling without a parent/adult. Students may sell door-to-door when accompanied by a parent or trusted adult.
🚫 Don’t approach or talk to strangers on your own.
👨‍👩‍👧 Always have an adult with you when selling.
🏠 Stick to people and places your family knows and trusts.

Big Kahuna Kickoff is today! Students will come home with the information today.
Please read, sign, and return the permission slips for your student to participate.

This is our big fundraiser of the year and it goes towards upgrades to the playgrounds!

♟️ Calling All Chess Lovers! ♟️

We’re excited to announce an ALL-NEW After-School Chess Club at Houchin! 🐾

Mrs. Hinson is always looking for new and engaging ways to connect with our Bulldogs after school, and she’s ready to introduce our students to the strategy, patience, and problem-solving skills that come with learning chess! 🧠♟️

To get the club started, she is looking for donations of:
♟️ 8 chess sets
🍎 Snacks for our chess players

Every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun—and we want to make sure they have what they need to be successful!

If you’re able to donate, please consider helping us make this new club possible! Your generosity will give our Bulldogs a fun new way to learn a skill they can enjoy for years to come. ❤️
