Here are some camps/clinics happening at our feeder high schools over the summer.

STARTING MONDAY, the annual MPS Read Moore Book Bus will make its way to a neighborhood near you until July 30! Our Book Bus has checked out TENS OF THOUSANDS of books to students and community members over its many summers of service. 😍📚

Anyone from babies to adults can check out a book!

In addition to our MPS Summer Meal Program, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Grab‑and‑Go Box Program will begin alternating visits between South Lake Elementary and Sooner Elementary each Tuesday, beginning June 2! 💙💚

‼️Through this generous model, families drive through and pick up food boxes without leaving their vehicles. Each distribution provides 10 days’ worth of food and drinks for each child, free of charge‼️

The program is available to ANY family, and a parent or guardian must be present. 🚗🤩

🗓️ Times and Dates
•South Lake: 12:30-2:30 p.m., on June 2, 16, 30, and July 14, 28

•Sooner: 9:30-11:30 a.m., on June 9, 23, and July 7, 21

Huge THANK YOU to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and their supporting partners for offering free meals for children ages one to 18. The program is designed to provide free food to children during the summer months in a simple, efficient, and accessible way for families. 😍

**Please note: The RFBO Summer Grab-and-Go Box Program is separate from the MPS Summer Feeding Program and the MPS Food Truck.

Tonight we celebrated our amazing 6th graders at promotion! 🎓❤️

A huge thank you to Frontline Church South OKC for allowing Houchin to use their beautiful space, welcoming us early so we could get everything set up, and for creating an additional balloon photo area for families to enjoy throughout the evening.

Thank you to our PTA volunteers who donated their time to create the balloon decor, one photo area, setting up the cookies and refreshments for our families to enjoy. Special shoutout to CLC Trailer Rentals for hauling all of the balloon stands to the venue for us!

We loved having the seniors come back to Houchin Elementary School yesterday to walk the halls one final time before graduation. Our students look up to them as role models, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished. We cannot wait to see all the amazing things they will continue to achieve in the future. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓

Tonight at our Ready, Tech, Go! Movie Night, we had the opportunity to bring families together for important conversations about technology, screen readiness, and creating healthy digital habits at home. 🎮📱🍿

This event was made possible through a grant from National Parent Teacher Association and AT&T as part of the PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! program. This initiative helps families, parents, and caregivers navigate today’s digital challenges through meaningful discussions about responsible device use and building healthy digital homes.

Through this program, families are encouraged to:
• Reflect on screen readiness for their children
• Explore tools and resources for digital life conversations
• Learn strategies for creating healthy technology habits at home
