Growing Minds Learning Center is a facility that has adopted principles and procedures based upon brain development and the research of human development. Each classroom follows The SC Early Standards, ITERS, and ECERS 3 recommendations for planning age appropriate, developmentally appropriate, academically challenging lessons for our students. In each of our classrooms we use curriculum focusing

on social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development. Because Growing Minds is a facility that has adopted approaches to play in learning as our guide to teaching; our children will always be engaged in learning activities they enjoy and are interested in.

Exciting News for Families from South Carolina First Steps! The First Steps 4K Student Application for the 2026-2027 school year is open!

All families of rising 4-year-old kindergarten students are encouraged to check their eligibility and apply at Free4KSC.org.

First Steps 4K partners with more than 300 licensed child care centers, private schools and charter schools across the state, making it easy for families to find a high-quality program that meets their needs. Most schools offer extended day and summer school options.
