📖 Make Story Time Even More Magical with These Easy At-Home Activities!

Activity 1: Cotton Ball Snow Play (Pairs with "The Snowy Day" or "Snowmen at Night")

What you need: A bowl, a handful of cotton balls.

How to do it: After reading, let your child play with cotton balls. They can pretend the cotton balls are snow, build tiny "snowmen," or just feel the soft texture. Talk about what Peter did in "The Snowy Day" or what the snowmen did at night!

Activity 2: Animal Sound Search (Pairs with "Bear Snores On" or "Owl Babies")

What you need: Nothing but your voices!

How to do it: After reading about the animals in the books, make the animal sounds together (e.g., bear growl, mouse squeak, owl hoot, badger sniff). You can even hide a favorite stuffed animal and make its sound for your child to find, just like the animals visited Bear's cave or the mama owl came back!

These simple activities help bring the stories to life, encourage imaginative play, and reinforce early learning concepts!
