Huge thank you to Sheriff Donald Yow, Marshall County and Detective David Grant, Moore, for their insight and experience with Animal Cruelty Investigations and Search and Seizure Warrant Applications. The information and applications provided are another useful tool in our belt of many aspects we handle in this field. Thank you to all who attended!! 35 cities represented!! It was great to see all of you. We will do this class again in the fall for others who may have missed the spring class. Again, thank you all for your time and dedication!!!

Green Country veterinarians and animal rescues are warning people after seeing more cases of a tick-borne illness in cats called bobcat fever.

Bobcat fever is a tick-borne disease transmitted to cats through the bite of a Lone Star tick. It is specific to cats and can be potentially fatal.

Experts say to watch for these symptoms:

💠Lethargy or depression
💠High fever
💠Difficulty breathing
💠Pale gums or mucous membranes
💠Yellowing of the skin or eyes, which occurs as the body struggles to process destroyed red blood cells
