Good afternoon. We are having an epidemic of students bringing squishy toys to school. Please be aware that squishy toys will no longer be permitted at school. We are asking that you please speak with your child about this expectation.

While these toys may seem harmless, they have become a significant distraction in the classroom and interfere with our ability to maintain a focused learning environment. Our priority at Moore Haven ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is to keep students engaged and focused on academics and learning.
Effective immediately, any squishy toys brought to school will be confiscated. Confiscated items will need to be picked up from the school by a parent or guardian.
We appreciate your support and helping us maintain a positive, focused, and productive learning environment for all of our students.

Parents, today we practiced our safety lockdown drill to ensure that our students and staff are prepared and know the appropriate procedures to follow in the event of an emergency.

We use these drills as an opportunity to practice, review expectations, and strengthen our school safety procedures. Our goal is always to make sure our Terriers are safe, prepared, and protected. 🖤💛
