Update: Moody Middle School's gym fire was quickly contained and localized to a gym light. The gym will remain closed as we begin clean up and repair, however the rest of the campus will return to normal operations. Students are returning to the building now and will complete the remainder of the day, as usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Original Post: Moody Middle School experienced a small electrical fire in the gym this morning. The fire was quickly extinguished. All students and staff were evacuated immediately and we are currently evaluating the situation. We will provide more information as quickly as possible.

2025-2026 The Bearcat (yearbook) has arrived! MHS students who placed an order can pick it up in the library. MES and MMS students who ordered one will have it sent home with them tomorrow.

If you missed the ordering deadline and still want one, we do have a few extra copies for sale ($50). Contact Mrs. Walker at the MHS library to get yours today!
