New year, new building, new traffic pattern!
*This post includes information about the traffic pattern for MHS (grades 9-12) and MMS (grades 6-8). Please refer to the posts from Moody Police Department, Moody Intermediate School, or Moody Elementary School for information for other grades.*
Dates for ALL schools:
Wednesday August 12th: First day students last name A-K.
MHS starts at 7:45 a.m. for all students, including dual enrollment, ECTC, and athletes with morning workouts. Plan to be at MHS for the full day (this includes Early Out seniors)!
Thursday August 13: First day students last name K-Z.
MHS starts at 7:45 a.m. for all students, including dual enrollment, ECTC, and athletes with morning workouts. Plan to be at MHS for the full day (this includes Early Out seniors)!
Friday August 14: ALL students.
Details will be given to students with dual enrollment, Early Out, and ECTC on Wednesday/Thursday.
Please see the attached map for the new MHS/MMS traffic pattern. Officers will be posted to help assist in traffic control.
Middle (6-8) and High School (9-12) - (NEW INFO!!!)
1) Both car lines will flow BEHIND the new Moody High School.
2) Middle school before AND after school: Use the left lane and go around the HS. When you come to the main road, you will turn left and drop off in the circle.
3) High School before AND after school: You will use the right lane, drop off behind school, and then will turn right on the main road to exit.
As always, it's pretty hectic the first few full days of school but it will even out. Please be patient the first couple weeks, especially with the new construction, and we appreciate your help and understanding as we all adjust to the traffic again.
