Moody Middle School's gym fire was quickly contained and localized to a gym light. The gym will remain closed as we begin clean up and repair, however the rest of the campus will return to normal operations. Students are returning to the building now and will complete the remainder of the day, as usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Moody Middle School experienced a small electrical fire in the gym this morning. The fire was quickly extinguished. All students and staff were evacuated immediately and we are currently evaluating the situation. We will provide more information as quickly as possible.

Dear MMS Parents and Students,

We will be MAP testing again next week. 7th and 8th grade will MAP test on Monday and Wednesday. 5th and 6th grade will MAP test on Tuesday and Thursday. We are going to try beginning the test second period. Please have all BEARCAT BRIGADE students report to the High School every day. They will not need to miss band class. And please remind your students to charge their chromebooks.

Dear Parents,
Tutorials have begun at Moody Middle School. If your student needs to attend tutorials for their HB 1416 required hours or to receive extra help, please plan for students to attend at the following times. Next week, we will be adding a special tutorial time for athletes who cannot miss practice.
