October is HERE and you know what that means.... TRUNK OR TREAT!!! Back by popular demand the MA West PTO is hosting a Trunk or Treat for our MA Community on Thursday, October 29th!! Please save the date!! This fun event will be held at the MA EAST campus starting at 6:00pm and ending at 7:30pm. This event is a come and go event, so bring your little Ghouls and Goblins anytime during that time frame to enjoy the fabulous trunks and collect treats!! (We will have allergy friendly options at each trunk).

If you would like to donate candy, treats or trinkets/toys for this event, we will have our candy monsters at the school the week before the trunk or treat, more details coming soon on candy donating!!

Events like this are not possible without the support of wonderful volunteers!! We are looking for a bunch of volunteers to decorate their trunk for this event!! Please keep the trunks age appropriate for our young trick or treaters (nothing too scary please). We ask that our volunteers plan on arriving, the day of the event, around 5:30pm to set up and plan to be at the event until 8:00pm. The candy will be provided to you the day of the event, so please do not bring your own candy. See the link below to sign up, if you know what your trunk theme is please post that in the comments so others can see what their competition will be!! There will be a contest for the best overall, best games, spookiest, most creative and the silliest, so please get creative!!! We will have prizes for each category and our trick or treaters will be casting the votes!! So do not hold back, we want this to be the best Trunk or Treat yet!!Here is the link to sign up for a trunk:

We are so excited to celebrate 30 years of Monument Academy with our Original Lynx Fun Run! During school Friday October 30th, we are going to go back to 1996 with a 90's, neon fun run followed by a totally rad glow in the dark dance party!

Here is our Online Donation Platform to share and find all things Fun Run!

Our annual Fun Run is the main fundraiser for the PTO, and supports so much of what we do: staff appreciation (parties, meals, supplies etc), grant money for classrooms, school improvements and so much more.

Each class will run for 20 mins (15 for Pre-k and Kinder) and then have 25 mins following to enjoy a glow in the dark dance party and bowling in the gym. We would love to have you join your student that day and will be sending out information next week about how to RSVP and when to be here.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions at [email protected]

Looking forward to partying like it's 1996!
