🌸 Montessori Material Spotlight: The Pink Tower 🌸

The Pink Tower is an iconic Montessori material found in nearly every Primary classroom. Its beautiful pink blocks stand out against the natural wood shelves and trays, inviting children to explore and discover.

The 10 blocks gradually increase in size and weight, allowing children to use their senses as they carefully build the tower. To the child, it may simply feel like they are building a tower—but so much more is happening!

As they work, children are developing concentration, coordination, visual discrimination, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of size, dimension, and weight.

This is the beauty of Montessori: simple materials, meaningful work, and learning hidden within every activity. 🌱
