Congratulations to Principal Lee on the Grand Opening of the Korean Language School of Colorado Springs yesterday.

Her son Justin earned his 3rd degree black belt and graduated from the Naval Academy. He was also part of the Gold medal winning demonstration team at the 2017 U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang.

Taekwondo at U.S. Taekwondo Center is far more than kicking and punching. Our goal is to teach children how to become respectful, disciplined, confident, and high performers in society. These foundational characteristics can be gained through the commitment of both the children and parents.

We often hear from the average parent "I don't want to force my child to do anything." While that may work in the short term, we can create long term successful traits in children if parents are willing to "force" their children to do tough things and follow through on commitments. This breeds grit, toughness, discipline, and excellence. Excellence is much different than average.
