Montverde Academy is celebrating a very special milestone for Richard Henry ’22! After returning home from deployment, Richard, a Sergeant and Combat Medic, took his next big step—proposing to his love atop a mountain in North Carolina! 🏔️❤️

From serving others to starting this exciting new chapter, Richard continues to make his Montverde family proud. We couldn’t be happier for this Eagle and his fiancée!

A special welcome back to Cahill Chen ’16, who returned to Montverde Academy today! It’s always a pleasure to see our alumni back on campus and hear about the journey they’ve taken since their days as an Eagle. Cahill just completed her Master's degree at Rice University. We’re so proud to see our Eagles continuing to learn, grow, and achieve great things!

The Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament (MAIT) returns January 28–30, 2027, and now is the perfect time to start making plans.

Every year, MAIT brings together generations of Eagles for an unforgettable weekend of elite basketball, reconnecting with classmates, and celebrating the Montverde Academy community. Whether you're coming back for the games, the Alumni Tent, or simply to catch up with old friends, we'd love to see you on campus. (Reminder that the Alumni Tent is reserved for those 21 and older.)

Golden State Warriors teammates Stephen Curry and Moses Moody '20 recently returned to North Little Rock High School in their hometown to spend time with young basketball campers, sharing their knowledge, encouraging the next generation, and reminding them that success is about more than what happens on the court.

At Montverde Academy, Moses helped build a championship culture before taking his talents to the NBA, where he now shares the court with one of the game's greatest ambassadors. Together, Stephen and Moses continue to make a difference by investing in young athletes and inspiring future leaders.
