✨ Our very first week of school is officially in the books! ✨
What a week it has been at Montrose Classical Academy. 🤩
From learning together in our classrooms to making new friends, exploring outside, playing at recess, and even seeing our MCA buses, this week has been filled with so many of the moments we dreamed about when this school was still just an idea.
Most of all, we are incredibly thankful for our students and families. Thank you for trusting us with your children, for partnering with our teachers and staff, and for showing us so much patience, encouragement, and support as we navigated all of the excitement that comes with opening a brand-new school.
From standing on chairs to answer questions, to challenging teachers to tug-of-war, building domino masterpieces, learning sprawled out on the classroom floor, and testing out every new recess game they can find, our students have jumped into their first week with both feet. Watching them begin to make MCA their school has been pretty incredible.
There will be so many more firsts ahead, but we will never have another first week of school at Montrose Classical Academy. We are so grateful to the families, students, teachers, staff, board members, volunteers, and community members who helped make this moment possible.

✨ ¡Nuestra primera semana de clases oficialmente ha llegado a su fin! ✨
¡Qué semana tan increíble hemos vivido en Montrose Classical Academy! 🤩
Desde aprender juntos en nuestras aulas hasta hacer nuevos amigos, explorar al aire libre, jugar durante el recreo e incluso ver nuestros autobuses de MCA recorriendo las calles, esta semana ha estado llena de muchos de esos momentos con los que soñábamos cuando esta escuela todavía era solo una idea.
Sobre todo, estamos profundamente agradecidos con nuestros estudiantes y familias. Gracias por confiarnos a sus hijos, por trabajar en equipo con nuestros maestros y personal, y por demostrarnos tanta paciencia, ánimo y apoyo mientras vivimos toda la emoción que conlleva abrir una escuela completamente nueva.
Desde subirse a las sillas para responder preguntas hasta retar a sus maestros a jugar tira y afloja, crear obras maestras con dominós, aprender cómodamente en el piso del salón y probar todos los juegos nuevos que encuentran durante el recreo, nuestros estudiantes se han entregado por completo a su primera semana. Ver cómo comienzan a hacer de MCA su propia escuela ha sido realmente increíble.
Nos esperan muchísimas primeras experiencias más, pero nunca volveremos a vivir otra primera semana de clases en Montrose Classical Academy. Estamos profundamente agradecidos con las familias, los estudiantes, los maestros, el personal, los miembros de nuestra junta directiva, los voluntarios y los miembros de nuestra comunidad que ayudaron a hacer posible este momento.
Primera semana, ¡completada! Y esto apenas comienza. 🧡📚
