With several fires burning in Western Colorado, the Extension office is focused on helping distribute resources and facilitate evacuation information. We're so incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and offers to help during this time.

However, if you have resources available for the community, please post them as a comment here to help us connect with people while keeping our phone lines clear for emergencies and coordination for those currently evacuating.

If you have livestock trailers, pens/land, donations, etc. to help those impacted by the wildfires, please let us know in the comments. CSU Extension was out last week at the Ridgway Ag Day for a wonderful class of students! They were able to learn about Planting, Bees, Vet Care, How to Rope/Barrel Race, and even got to check in with goats/pony/chickens/pigeons! What a fun day!
