Once again this past week, I was able to recognize the outstanding dedication of another Team Two steering committee member and instructor. Gary Gordon, of Washington County Mental Health Services, was an original steering committee member, helping to form the curriculum that became a day long training where first responders come together and work through crisis scenarios. Gary was surprised last week by his colleagues and several members of the Washington County law enforcement community when he received the Team Two Frank Silfies Award. Gary is passionate about building the relationships necessary so that crisis workers can work collaboratively with law enforcement, dispatchers and EMTs. He’s a true Champion!
