Experience a bold, high-tech reimagining of William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy with Stage 32’s production of Juliet and Romeo. Our version offers a fresh, immersive experience that bridges the gap between classic literature and modern digital innovation. Step back in time through a stunning cinematic environment, developed by Stage 32 students in a special partnership with Carlos Diaz and Central Vermont Career Center Film students. Directed by guest artist Peter Gould—founder of the renowned Get Thee to the Funnery Shakespeare camp—this production is creatively daring. Juliet and Romeo features intergenerational casting: to heighten the emotional stakes, adult guest actors perform the roles of the parents, creating a powerful, real-world dynamic between the youth and adult characters. Come see Erin GB, Adrian Wade, Jarrod Weiss, and Molly Mitchell on stage! With original music by Abel Alaniz, performed by U-32 music students, you will be transported to the streets of Verona in this beautiful adaptation of the timeless story of love.
