As you all know this has been a whirlwind of a summer. Sometimes life has other plans for us, no matter how hard we try to make something work. And sometimes, we just have to let go and know it’s ok. ❤️

This is a hard post to make, and I just hope everyone knows how much I value you and how much I’ve loved and appreciated all the support we’ve received. I knew the Paris location wasn’t ideal for most, but it was kind of my last hail mary. Unfortunately, our numbers just won’t be enough to make it feasible to do so. And really, thats ok. I’ve felt a pull for change this summer, but I just kept fighting because I wanted to be there for you all. Reality is, I need to slow down a little too.

I will always treasure my preschool time in Montpelier. A dream I always had was owning a facility based preschool. With classrooms, playground and lots of little children having good experiences. And I had that. ❤️ You all made that possible. So, a huge THANK YOU! It was a dream come true.

It’s now time for Little Me Preschool to close. I am excited for new beginnings to come. In the coming days I will reach out to everyone who was registered and get everyone reimbursed for their registration fees. Please be patient as this will take a little time as I get everything squared away.

I know you’ve all been patiently waiting for an update on all things preschool. I’ve been waiting in hopes of good news to post. So, where is the preschool now?

Short answer?…in my garage. 😅 All boxed up and missing the kids like crazy. Long answer…We have had a lot of ups and downs this summer in finding a building and the only options have fallen through. So, my garage is it’s current home. I had hoped to be in a new building already and setting it up for all your little humans, but Montpelier just doesn’t have anything. We have spent hours on hours looking into all the places, but the reality is that there just isn’t anywhere there for us. 🥲

So, what now? I want to be open and honest so you all know what is going on and where I’m coming from. I now have an option. It will be a great size and I believe it will make for a great preschool. Great windows with natural light, an area we could be outside and a good parking situation. BUT, it’s in Paris. ❤️ I know many people have worries about that. I know driving can be difficult sometimes, and I hope that our preschool parents can find ways to carpool and help each other out. We could possibly help move some kids classes around to be with those they can carpool with.

Pure honesty here? Moving is hard, not having a building is hard, running a business is hard, leaving my dream building has been so HARD. Have I thought about throwing in the towel? You betcha, a couple times actually. But we love preschool. We love what we do and we want to continue serving our community and helping the kids. That’s why we do it, and that’s why we have been fighting tooth and nail to find something to make work. So, I hope that you can find ways to still support us on this journey. Really the only other option is to close up shop.

What will preschool look like? To help those traveling to us, we will make all classes 3 hour classes. We would have three, 4 yr old classes and one, 3 yr old class. Class times would be: 8:30-11:30 and 12-3 (Either Mon/Wed or Tuesday/Thurs) to help with dropping off and picking up kids from school in Montpelier. Tuition would be $95 a month for all classes. The building is being completed now, but we would most likely start closer to the middle of September.

Thank you for sticking with us and all your support over these last 8 years. Like I said, we love preschool and we appreciate all of you. So many reached out trying to help us find a building and we are grateful for it. I will post more info when I have it.

Interested in something for your little one this summer? This class is for those children that are or will be 5 this year. We will work on kindergarten readiness and early reading. ❤️

Still on the look out!

We have absolutely LOVED our current preschool building and landlord. Unfortunately, the time has come that the building is being sold and the new owners will need the full building. 😭 We are a bit heartbroken over losing our current building. We know we will make our next place fabulous. BUT, we need your help! Finding a new place isn’t easy. So, if you have any ideas please send them my way! Even if it may not work. I know together we can find something, and you may know of something I don’t. Thank you for all your help and support. ❤️

Our classes are filling up! One class is already completely full! 🙀 You can stop by Monday thru Thursday this week or next between 8:30AM-3:30PM to grab your child registration papers.

Whoa! We are 50% full for next school year already! As of right now, everyone has gotten their first choice class. A couple classes are nearing being full though, so get those papers in!
