The last day of Summer Care ended with some water fun at Piatt County Nursing Home and a special Kona Ice treat!

A week packed with fun! A baby brother being born, a trip to the new playground, butterfly's being released, pickle making and of course a visit from some animal friends Ruby, the the Red-tailed Hawk, Petunia, the Virginia Opossum, Caduceus the Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Hazel, the Eastern Box Turtle and Onslo the Blue Tongue Skink!

With the cooler temps yesterday, some of our summer care kids enjoyed the new playground at Pfc. Burke Park instead of a pool day. 🛝

They had a blast! 🤩

We feel blessed to be able to enjoy the new playground!😁

We are hiring for the 2025/2026 school year! 😎

We need to hire a "leader" for our After Care program. This person will be at least 18 years old. Must be able to pass a background check. ✅ They will report to the After Care coordinator. We have a large program and group children by age. You will work with children from all groups - preschool through 5th grade. It's important to be able to make in the moment judgement calls and have a desire to provide exceptional care to the children in our program! 🤩

As of now, the open position will be for Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are open to discuss options! The first day of school is 08/13/2025. The right candidate will be available at least every Tues/Thursday at 3:00 PM, while school is in session. 👍

MCA Summer Care ended the week with a fun trip to the Scovill Zoo!

A jammed pack week of fun ending with a trip to Canvas & Corks in Bement and a day showing off our tie dye creations! Only three weeks left!

What a full week of summer fun! We made a lot of arts and crafts, learned about Jericho and sang about how its walls came tumbling down! We made solar ovens and then got to eat S'mores that we baked in them. We entertained Piatt County Nursing Home memory care residents, singing some of our favorite worship songs, swam a lot at the pool and created some awesome tie-dye TShirts. A jammed packed week of fun!
