We're Hiring!
Faith Christian School (Monticello, IL) is currently interviewing candidates for a Pre-K Teacher position for the upcoming school year.
We have already begun the interview process, but we want to be sure that anyone who may be interested has the opportunity to apply. The ideal candidate will have:
• Classroom teaching experience in an early childhood setting
• Education or training in Early Childhood Education
• A love for young children and a heart for Christian education
• The ability to provide a nurturing, well-organized, and
engaging classroom environment

The forecast was for cool temps but sunny skies so it made for a beautiful day for our spring field trip. Thank you Mr strain Conductor for taking our Faith Christian School kids for a train ride to Nicks Park for a fun play day.
After playing the children got to enjoy yummy snow cone’s from Kona Ice, compliments of our friend Terri Norman! It was the best day ever and we had some very happy kiddos! Thank you Terri& Kona Ice!

It’s Friday, and it’s been a full and busy week at Faith!
Thank you to our Faith families for going above and beyond this week to make our teachers feel appreciated and loved. Seeing you bless and encourage them makes my heart happy. You did such thoughtful and generous things for them.

I also love to join in the fun with some extra surprise of my own. This year I created some “Brown Paper Bag” surprises to celebrate the amazing group of teachers we are blessed to have at Faith.
Each day their brown paper bag had a themed design!
“Mug”-nificent Monday with a mug cake treat,
“Take Note” Tuesday with fountain pens and note cards,
"Whimsical" Wednesday with wind chimes, wildflowers, and a wristlet keychain!
"T-L-C" Thursday with lotions and treats!
and "FINALLY FRIDAY" with a lunch from the Brown Bag and a little brown bag purse that carried a few extra dollars to spend.

It was fun creating the bags and finding small ways to encourage the teachers who pour so much love, creativity, patience, and heart into the students in their class.

I really love what I get to do each day. Here’s to Faith Christian
