Dow Tops 38000 for the First Time The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed above the 38000 level intraday for the first time on record Monday. The blue-chip index hit its last thousand-point milestone, 37000, in December, 25 trading days ago. That would mark the shortest period between milestones since 33000 to 34000, according to
