My passion for children can be traced back to my pre-professional days. Whether as a volunteer teacher’s assistant while still in high school or volunteering in children’s church as a young adult. I have been on a path to helping and educating children from the start. I love seeing those light blub moments in their eyes and leaving a good lasting impact on their lives. It has led m

e to fulfilling one of my dreams of opening a childcare center and a Microschool. I opened Ladders 4 Learning Child Care And Development Center L.L.C in 2015 as the owner and Director. Century After School Program Coordinator for after school youths’ grades k-12 at Dermott Public School. As the 21st Century Program Coordinator I designed the program, organized, hired and recruit staff, enrolled students into the program, and followed all state standards to ensure the program was a success. I also worked for Milwaukee Public School System for several years working with students k-12. Outside my childcare center my new endeavor is opening up and Prenda Microschool to serve kids K5-8th grade. It has been a dream of mine to open a school. It has become possible during our unfortunate situation during the covid-19 pandemic. Families are looking for a smaller and different way to educate their children. We achieved this great accomplishment with the help of The Reform Alliance Non-Profit Organization. I am so grateful that this dream has come true. I am a graduate of Upper Iowa University where I majored in Psychology and Fine Arts. I currently live in Dermott, Arkansas with my family. When I am not busy with my childcare center or my Prenda Microschool you can find me relaxing, traveling and spending quality time with my family that includes my great husband, four children and three dogs.
