Monticello Middle School Bands

The jazz band had a great time playing for Maple Point today! Beautiful day for outdoor jazz!

Friday is the big day! These kids have worked tirelessly all year achieving musical excellence each step of the way…and building friendships to last a lifetime. They’ve had their celebration; now they are ready to perform!

Please join us on Friday May 8 at 8:30 a.m. in the Great Hall in the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts to watch this band give a stellar performance. The concert is free with general seating.

Congratulations, MMS Symphonic Band Members!!!

Congrats to our Symphonic Band (Monticello Middle School Bands) on being a Superstate Selectee!!! They were one of only 6 bands to represent the finest middle school bands in the state of Illinois! They will perform at Krannert Center on May 8th!

Congratulations to the MMS Symphonic Band on their recent Division I rating at the IGSMA District 3 festival at Prairie Central. Fantastic job!

Good luck to our 6th and 7th Graders at their band concert this evening!

Congratulations to Andrew Nelson! He was selected by audition to perform the National Anthem at the University of Illinois Tennis Matches this past Friday! Great work, Andrew!!
