DCE is incredibly proud to partner with the UAM School of Education to offer this unique, hands-on learning experience for future educators! ❤️🏴‍☠️

Opening our doors to UAM teacher candidates gives them the opportunity to take what they are learning at the university level and put it into practice alongside our amazing DCE educators and students. At the same time, our students benefit from even more intentional literacy instruction, encouragement, and support.

We are excited to welcome Crystal Grimes and her Teaching Literacy students to the DCE campus this fall as we work together to help prepare the next generation of educators.

We are so thankful for our UAM partners and their willingness to think outside the box with us. This partnership is a wonderful example of what can happen when schools and universities work together with a shared goal—creating opportunities and changing futures for both today’s students and tomorrow’s teachers!

📣🏴‍☠️ AHOY, FUTURE PIRATE CHEERLEADERS! 🏴‍☠️📣

We are SO excited to announce the DCHS Mini Cheer Clinic! ❤️🖤

This clinic is OPEN TO ANY GIRL OR BOY IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE! 🎀🏴‍☠️ No cheer experience necessary—just bring your school spirit and get ready to HAVE FUN!

During the clinic, our Pirate Cheerleaders will learn a fun dance and cheer that they will perform during HALFTIME of the DCHS Football Game vs. Smackover on September 18th! 🏈📣

📅 September 14, 15 & 16
⏰ 3:30–5:00 PM each day
📍 Drew Central Multipurpose Gym
💰 Cost: $45

Your registration fee includes:
👕 T-shirt
🍿 Snacks during the clinic
📣 Performance at the football game

🏈 PERFORMANCE: September 18th at the DCHS Football Game vs. Smackover!

📝 Forms AND registration fee are due to the elementary office NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 1ST BY 12:00 PM.
