🧹💙 Happy National Custodian Day! 💙🧹

Today we celebrate and appreciate our incredible custodians who work behind the scenes to keep our KLR school clean, safe, and welcoming every day.

We are so lucky to Mr. Holland and his wonderful team! Your hard work, dedication, and attention to detail make a difference that often goes far beyond what people see. Thank you for everything you do, day in and day out!

We appreciate you today and every day! 🙌✨

Today, principal Serrano reminded us that sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest impact. ❤️

She wheeled a snack and beverage cart around to personally serve our staff, taking the time to make sure everyone felt seen, appreciated, and cared for.

In the middle of a busy school day, that simple act of kindness meant so much. It’s easy to overlook how much our staff pours into our students and school community every single day, so having someone stop and pour a little kindness back into us was truly special. 💙💙💙

Thank you for going the extra mile and for showing our staff just how much they are valued. We are so lucky to have a principal who leads not only with purpose, but with heart. 💕

🏀 What an incredible way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉💙🐾

We started the year with a fantastic assembly, “Hoops for Life!” Our students had an amazing time while reviewing our PBIS Character Traits and demonstrating outstanding engagement throughout the assembly. Their enthusiasm, energy, and participation truly made it a memorable start to the new school year! 🌟🏀

Fifth grade students in Mrs. Bowles & Ms. Sheppard’s class, Ms. Keane’s class, and Mr. Longueira’s class created animals for their Volume Zoo project!

Students practiced their measuring skills to find the volume of each box of their project. They calculated the volume of each box. Finally, they added each volume together to find the total volume of their animal.

Then they got to design their boxes to look like their animal! What a great way to end their fifth grade year!
