Jasper County Charter System Statement on Measles:
The Jasper County Charter System is aware of recent measles cases confirmed in Jasper County by the Georgia Department of Health. At this time, there have been no measles cases associated with any of our school buildings, and no close contacts have been identified in our schools.

We work closely with public health officials. If a student or staff member in one of our schools is ever identified as a case, the district will notify families of that school promptly.

Questions about measles cases, possible exposure in the community, or vaccination should be directed to the Jasper County Health Department at (706) 468-6850. We will continue to follow public health guidance and keep families informed if anything changes that affects our schools

Jasper County High School’s 2026 four-year graduation rate is 94.15%, the district’s highest graduation rate since 2018. The rate is more than five percentage points above Georgia’s statewide four-year graduation rate of 88.5%, which reached a historic high in 2026. The Jasper County Board of Education recognized Jasper County High School for earning six 2025-2026 AP School Honors and celebrated nine current JCHS students who earned a score of 5, the highest possible score, on one or more Advanced Placement exams. Board Bullets from the September 15, 2026, Jasper County Board of Education meeting. This month’s meeting included recognition of our students and Jasper County High School for outstanding Advanced Placement achievement, updates on student achievement, bullying prevention and student safety, and our ongoing work to improve car rider traffic and safety at the JCPS and WPES campuses. The Board also approved roadway improvements designed to increase on-campus vehicle capacity and better separate bus and car rider traffic.
