Our mission is to prepare students to fulfill their life mission by making purpose-driven outdoor education accessible to Indigenous and rural communities, nurturing their physical health, mental health, faith, and heritage through programs that foster a lifelong love of learning, resilience, and meaningful connections to elders.
Because of this, We have invited the Gathering of Tribes to bring an event to our Monument Valley Life Mission School location. We are hosting the Navajo Oral History Project, on September 28 and 29 . we invite you to share a meal with us for dinner on Monday at 6 PM and lunch on Tuesday at 12 PM.
A NIGHT OF COMMUNITY HISTORY
The campus is reserved for the 2 days for this project, and we will be having special programs to record, share, and celebrate the stories of our local community. If you have any thoughts on how to make this event meaningful to the community, please let us know!
We are asking for your help in sharing this event with any Navajo so they can come get their history recorded, and also other community members. This event is open to both individuals in this community and their families, as well as any vendors.
HOW TO RSVP
We would love your help to gather an RSVP number by sharing this link.
