FREE FOREST SCHOOL TUESDAYS

Join us weekly for all day fun at Life Mission School! We are hosting a free Forest School every Tuesday at our Forest Campus between Blanding and Monticello for children ages 4 and up. We have split the day into two unique sessions, so you can choose what works best for your family.

SESSION 1 CHILD LED EXPLORATION

From 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, will dive into nature play and discovery. This is a time for unstructured, creative learning in the great outdoors. Both groups will overlap for lunch at noon!

SESSION 2 MUSIC SCIENCE AND ART

From Noon to 2:00 PM, we transition to our objective based session for music, science and art.

GROUP VIOLIN INSTRUCTION

During Session 2, we have group violin available. Students are welcome to bring their violin for free group play, or you can sign up for formal instruction for a paid tuition of $30 per month.

TRANSPORTATION AND LOCATION

Transportation is provided! We offer a 9:30 AM pick up and a 2:30 PM drop off. The Forest Campus is located at 301 Long Canyon Point Rd.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are looking for volunteers to be the second adult. Come help kids feel valued and safe!

HOW TO JOIN

OUR LATEST SUMMER CAMP LESSON

We had a fantastic time at summer camp today. We learned all about the 4 Sacred Mountains, their cardinal directions, and how to say them in Navajo. We sorted rocks and put them into patterns. We learned about plate tectonics with graham crackers and icing too!

It was such an enjoyable day and the kids really enjoyed exploring these important lessons.

ONE MORE DAY OF CAMP

We just have one more day of summer camp in MV! Come join us Monday July 6th.

COST TO ATTEND

This extra day of camp is only $1 per student. We would love to see your kids there for one last day of learning and fun at the Life Mission School Monument Valley Campus.

SUMMER CAMP IN MONUMENT VALLEY

Get ready for an epic day of desert discovery at our Monument Valley summer camp on June 22 from 9 am to 1 pm. Lunch is fully provided so campers stay energized for the fun. You can sign up for whatever price works for your family, anywhere from $1 to $20.

MATCHING COLORS

Embark on a vibrant scavenger hunt to discover the hidden rainbow of the desert! Campers will search high and low to find exact natural matches for a wide spectrum of wild colors.

EROSION WHERE DID THE LAND COME FROM

Get your hands dirty as we uncover the secrets of the earth! We will build mountains and rivers in the sand to see exactly how our spectacular landscape was formed by water and wind.

NATURE JOURNALING

Take a quiet moment to sketch and write about the amazing desert treasures we find. Campers will create a beautiful keepsake of their outdoor adventures to take home.

WEB OF LIFE

Become a living part of the ecosystem! We will use a giant interconnected web to discover how every plant, animal, and person relies on each other in the amazing Colorado Plateau.

PATTERNS OF STONE

Unlock the mysteries of geology! We will examine fascinating rocks and use their unique shapes and colors to create amazing natural art and solve geological puzzles.

GRAHAM CRACKER TECTONICS

Eat your science experiments! We will use tasty graham crackers to simulate powerful earthquakes and shifting tectonic plates before gobbling them up.
