We are delighted to recognize one of our talented students, Emmylou Gaines, who recently earned 3rd place in the Governor’s Mansion Art Contest!
This contest invites fourth-grade students in Alabama to submit original artwork inspired by meaningful Alabama symbols. For the 2026 contest, students were challenged to create a piece centered on the Alabama state flower, the camellia.

Thank you to Mrs. DeHuff and Ms. Cassidy, for encouraging our students' participation in this contest and submitting their work. We are incredibly proud of Emmylou for representing our school so well and showcasing her creativity. Congratulations!
