We partnered with the Peer Helpers of Booker T. Washington High School, who came up with a great idea for an ART Competition. The theme for the event was “The Effects of Va**ng & To***co.”

Through powerful artwork and creative expression, students used their voices to highlight the dangers and long-term impact of va**ng and to***co use on today’s youth. Each piece told a unique story and reflected the talent, passion, and awareness of the students involved.

Students and staff members had the opportunity to vote for their favorite pieces.

Kyleigh Jack won 1st Place, Amber Robinson was our 2nd Place winner, Rayunna Neal won 3rd Place, and Madisyn Williams received an Honorable Mention. Congratulations to all of our winners and every student who participated in the competition!

We are incredibly proud to support opportunities that encourage leadership, creativity, and healthy decision-making among young people in our community. A special thank you to the Peer Helpers, school staff, and everyone who helped make this event a success.

We look forward to continuing partnerships that empower students to make a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom. 🎨✨

We had a blast today at day 1 of Macon County’s Stem Day!

“Stem enrichment is critical for developing 21st-century skills, fostering curiosity, and preparing students for future careers by connecting academic concepts to real world, hands-on challenges. It drives innovation, boosts critical thinking, encourages resilience through trial and error, and supports equity by providing access to advanced technology and engaging collaborative, and creative learning experiences.”

Mark your calendars! 💊🗓️

Jackson Hospital is proud to support Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25th, a safe and easy way to dispose of unused or expired medications and help keep our community safe.

Properly disposing of medications helps prevent misuse and protects our environment. Stop by, clean out your medicine cabinet, and make a difference!

We were proud to partner with the Bullock County High School - Hornet NationPeer Helpers to recognize Take Down To***co Day in a fun and impactful way at the Bullock County Career Technical Center

Together, we hosted a “Honk and Wave” event to spread awareness about choosing a to***co-free life. With energy, positivity, and a lot of honks of support from the community, students helped send a powerful message: living to***co-free is something to celebrate.

Moments like these show how youth voices can make a difference and inspire healthier choices across our communities. We’re grateful to the Peer Helpers for their leadership and commitment to making Bullock County a healthier place!
