A forum for faith leaders to dialogue about issues that affect Montgomery and the world, promoting respect for our diversity of cultures and faith groups.

Interfaith Montgomery was formed in 2005 to provide a forum for diverse religious voices during that year’s 50th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Since then, Interfaith Montgomery has grown into a community of caring, dedicated clergy and other religious leaders. We offer a dynamic voice for diversity and tolerance, and a forum for education and professional development. Interfaith Montg

Interfaith Montgomery is grateful to Immanuel Presbyterian PCUSA for hosting public Interfaith Service on Sunday, January 4, 2026. The theme of the service was "hospitality" and that concept was actualized by Immanuel's members and its pastor Elizabeth O'Neill. The service was beautifully documented by community photographer Jill Friedman.

🌅 Good Morning! Day 51 (12/15/2025) Begins - Crossing into Alabama! - We have just started our walk from Meridian, Mississippi, heading through Russell and Toomsuba, then crossing into Cuba, Alabama via US-80 Highway. A new historic day of us—entering our fourth state! The journey continues, one step at a time. We warmly welcome everyone to visit us at our stops!

This is the coldest morning start we have ever had, at 21°F. We still proceed with the journey and are being careful with the cold weather. Thank you all for the well wishes and concern we have received from everyone. 🙏

📍 Use the Live Map in the pinned/featured post on top of our page to track our journey today and our stop locations. Check last night’s update for full details.

Have a peaceful day! May we be mindful in everything we do throughout the day. We invite you to walk with us in spirit. May you and all beings be happy and at peace. 🙏
